In the middle of the 10-day war for Slovenian independence (1991), two soldiers daydream about the future of their newborn country. During guard duty, Ratko and Tugo decide to throw a small party for Ratko's 30th birthday, speculating on what the new state will be like in 30 years. The film reminds us of the banality of division and seeking enemies in neighbors, telling a story of brotherhood, the end of one era, and the beginning of a new one where anything is possible.
